Understanding Pilot Demonstrators

A Pilot Demonstrator (PD) serves as a prototype designed to showcase new technologies or systems within a real-world setting.

ChEESE is dedicated to creating a range of pilot demonstrators with the goal of tackling key scientific and societal challenges through the application of high-performance computing (HPC) simulations. These demonstrators concentrate on diverse areas of geophysics, striving to utilize exascale computing power to improve the prediction and analysis of geohazards.
