FLAGSHIP CODES

ChEESE is preparing 11 flagship scientific codes to tackle 12 grand challenges at the Exascale. After pioneering work in seismology, volcanology, magnetohydrodynamics, and tsunamis, the project now expands into geodynamics and glacier hazard modeling.

These codes are being upgraded to run faster and more efficiently on the world’s most powerful supercomputers. The work focuses on performance, scalability, portability, and ease of deployment across today’s pre-exascale machines and tomorrow’s EuroHPC systems, all through an innovative co-design approach with mini-apps.
